Advent Workout Set
Advent is an in-home workout equipment set and application that aims to be approachable for new users to workout in the stress-free environment of their own home and motivate them to continue on their workout journey.
Ideation
Throughout the ideation phase, each of the designs began to take form. Beginning with the selection of the most important pieces of equipment to include with the family.
Dumbbell
The Advent Dumbbell’s soft smooth form leads to a natural grip for common dumbbell workouts due to the flattened handle with a rounded underside to fit most users hand size. The sliding mechanisms on the weights allow for an easy addition of weight to the dumbbell form. The weight additions can be added in 5lb increments.
Kettlebell
A single Advent Kettlebell can add weight through the addition of bottom sections. Starting at 5lbs, the second addition of 8lbs, and the final base addition of 10lbs. This piece of equipment also features the flattened handle for easy grip.
Resistance Bands
Like most resistance bands, Advent resistance bands feature a simple handle. Unlike most, the resistance bands are innovative in the shape of the stirrup specifically designed to fit the users feet. The resistance bands are also easily swappable making for an increased amount of workouts with a minimal amount of equipment.
Workout Mat
The rounded corners of the Advent workout mat make it easy for the mat to be folded in accordion style and stored in the provided compartment in the storage unit.
Phone Stand
To simplify the workout for the user, Advent comes with a phone/tablet stand. The user can then operate the app and follow workout instructions to improve their form. The phone stand slides easily into the handle notch on the exterior of the storage unit.
Storage Unit
Advent storage unit features custom compartments to hold each piece of equipment provided. These compartments allow for ease of use and visibility of each piece.
